After graduating from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine (English) in 2008, Dr. Atalay completed his ophthalmology residency training at Istanbul University CerrahpaÅŸa Faculty of Medicine in 2013. He worked at Singapore Eye Research Institute as a clinical research fellow between October 2015 and March 2017 under the mentorship of Professor Tin Aung. He holds an MSc degree on Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering from University College London that was funded by the UK Chevening Scholarship. He has been working as a faculty member at the Department of Ophthalmology at Eskisehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine since October 2017.
